Best chippy I’ve had in Herts I’d say (and I’ve had some good ones). The staff are lovely, the food is cooked to perfection each time and the prices are good. Went there yesterday (Wednesday) and it was full of people by the time we left about 6.45pm. Very popular place for good reason.
The curry sauce with vinegar laden chips is divine!!

First time visiting this restaurant and it was lovely the staff are very friendly the food was cooked fresh and tasted wonderful. Will definitely return if this is the quality of food to expect. Thanks again everyone at the shop.
Popped in to East Ocean this evening as first time customers. We wanted a couple of pieces of fish and a portion of chips. There was only one piece of fish ready, but they happily put another piece in the fryer. It was about 9.35pm, and as we waited for the fish to cook, I asked what time they closed. 9.30pm was the reply! These lovely chaps hadn't blinked an eyelid when they had to cook more food after closing time! Not only that, but the fish was huuuuge, and I've never had as big a portion of chips in my entire life! Everything was cooked beautifully, and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Lovely food, large portions and clean premises. Only negative, on arriving home discovered I hadn't been given the picked onion I had paid for !
Staff friendly and polite. Conveniently located. Shame they don't have vegetable burgers though. Chips are lovely and generous portions.

Listen I have been to this chip shop many times and I rate them very friendly portion sizes are great you want a small chips your getting a medium and chips were fresh , cod was lovely and the staff were great! I have seen my fair share of bad chippy's this isn't one of them.
