Wow, having avoided this place like the plague for years I ended up in there on Saturday night...what a place. No frills admittedly and not a place for a first date or a quiet drink but such a good atmosphere. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the toilets weren't half as bad as I had expected and I had a fabulous night!!
Nice bar friendly staff pool table and a good jukebox and a good selection of beers and spirits
Intimate venue, limited ales, everything else is available. Specialising in and showcasing new and offbeat acts, heavy rock and blues etc. Not open every night, so check the events by following the Facebook page. I couldn't recommend The Eagle more! ROCK ON!!! ????????????
Jam session. Sunday afternoon monthly. Good set-up. Bring your own banjos!
