The building is on the main road with parking down a narrow alleyway immediately opposite. Take care when crossing the road after parking your car as the road is very busy and you cross on a bend. The building is very interesting and there are plenty of information boards around. There's a lovely waterfall to see. The building itself is closed because there are bats living inside. Very interesting and informative about Welsh history.
Interesting furnace site where pig iron used to be made. Not a large site but interesting. Will only take half hour tops to look round. Parking is down the road so a short walk from the car. An interesting treasure hunt/learning experience for the kids is present on the info boards.
Lovely historic mill to visit and enjoy the Waterfall and surrounding areas
It is not a big place, but a piece of history is here, worth coming.
It is a very beautiful place, in sha Allah I will come again in summer If there is life . Dyfi furnace Aberystwyth
Well you can't go in because there are bats in residence, but I've driven past several times wondering what this is, and finally pulled into the free carpark opposite to have a look (for free.) Huge water wheel, not working, lovely waterfall next to it, and useful explanation boards. It's an historic building, well worth preserving.
Great for a quick stop off if you're in the area
What a wonderful hidden gem. There is not much to see here, but it is amazing to read the history and the workings on the many information boards and the bonus of a beautiful waterfall to the side. Just be careful crossing the road from the car park as it is on a sharp bend.
