Very cute boat with a peaceful atmosphere. We had a little afternoon tea for 2 with cakes. We had coffee walnut and victoria sponge cakes which both tasted lovely. The staff were very kind and had lovely dogs too :)
Lovely friendly staff always happy and welcoming. Dogs get a treats and welcome. Food is lovely and hot as well as freshly cooked to order. Very well priced and all goes to a really good cause. Been twice and will be back
What a little hidden gem. Such lovely people and atmosphere. So child friendly - suitcase full of toys and made our little one her own hot chocolate in a didi mug. Such fun to be on a boat with lots of history and relics to see. Gorgeous scones so fresh and presented in such a lovely way. Definitely be back ❤️ oh and 2 toddler friendly dogs too!
Visited here today, what a fantastic experience. A warm welcome, delicious food and a lovely homely atmosphere. So nice to be able to sit amongst all the different items and photos on display, enjoy food from beautiful vintage crockery and look directly out onto the boats bobbing around next to you in the marina. The boat itself is historic, definitely needs a visit if you're in the marina
Impromptu lunch. Staff were lovely and great with my little boy, showing him all the interesting paraphernalia and even the engine room! Food was lovely, tasty and plentiful. Also a couple of very friendly sea dogs onboard, which was cute! Loved learning about the history of the boat, made it feel very special! We'll be back!
Found a perfect gem to eat in the Marina. Lovely friendly staff. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. If you have a chance to visit, it is well worth it. Fascinating history on board too.
Amazing little place to get a drink or snack in Hartlepool. We had sandwiches and drinks and they were all delicious, very generous portions. The staff are incredibly friendly and we got a little tour of the wheel house upstairs. Not only is it a lovely lunch or cake spot but it is a marvelous bit of history. The boat was used in Dunkirk to save over 900 soldiers and it had been restored to a beautiful condition. An absolute must!
Stopped by with the family for a little bite to eat for lunch i tried the traditional hartlepool Pease pudding sandwich can honestly say it was pretty good but less about my lunch and more about the Dunkirk it's a nice quirky boat cafe with excellent staff warm friendly welcome and table service. Fresh scones, fresh coffee and you can even sit outside to enjoy the sunshine rays of the harbour as you eat.
