Stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant on our way to Cambridge, saw the google review was really high and surprisingly the food was rly good and authentic ! Had sore throat and cough and the boss noticed and Immediately offered to add honey into my chrysanthemum tea! Food was great, staff were very friendly, clean and pleasant dining experience! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!
In house the food was exceptional, beautiful service, and all the meat is halal. This one is a gem within chinese restaurants! ????
Delivery: Amazing food. Duck is halal. Best crispy duck pancakes ever!
Small restaurant with decent Chinese food. The Crispy duck was the highlight of the meal, very aromatic and delicious. The Shrimp dumplings were very nice too. But what impressed us the most was how nice and gentle the owner is to the customers as well as his staff. He gave recommendations for the food, stopped us from ordering way too much, gave us an extra dish of fried dumplings as a gift. He was so attentive to our needs and dining experience. And when we left the tips, he received and immediately turnt to his staff, who also served us (and was so soft spoken and gentle too), to tell him "hey they left it for you". It seems like he treats his staff very nice like his family member too.
A small place but friendly service and non greasy flavoursome food ! Highly recommended . We live in Wales and it’s our second visit within the year and hope to visit again before the year is out . What a find !!!
We made a special visit, looking forward to dim sum, and I asked in advance if they did it. Dim sum menu was disappointing. This place is half way to being a typical Chinese takeaway rather than restaurant as atmosphere was dead. The chef's hot pot special was not flavoursome at all, portion size was small. We got advised to get two portions of rice, which is a waste considering hot pot was small compared to other Chinese restaurants across Berkshire. It is Chinese new year and place was quiet. The entire meal was overpriced for quality, service charge is optional but waitress added it without giving us option to add it. If you like Chinese food, go elsewhere. Food was generally okay, service was attentive so okay to pay service. Not worth the price compared to my local Chinese that provides larger portions for £6 for same dish.
