Best KPortal Reviews
Food was okay but there was not much pork (maybe under 5 pieces?) compared to chicken and shrimp
Overall, very comfortable environment and nice staffs
As a Cantonese speaker, albeit London born, I found the interaction with the staff interesting as they also spoke Cantonese but seemed to insist on speaking to me in English. Anyhow, the food my family ordered was absolutely delicious and authentic to the kind of flavours and textures that can be found and ordered in the best Chinatown restaurants in Central London without the Central London prices. MY family of 13 in the group ordered a la carte and paid the equivalent of less than £15 per head inc. 10 percent service charge. A wonderful way of celebrating a combined Father's Day four with a significant birthday thrown in. Thank you Dragon Restaurant Crouch End.
Friendly staff, great crispy seaweed, yummy Singapore noodles, great spring rolls- a fair amount of vegetarian/ vegan things on the menu.
The portions are a bit smaller than you'd expect, but it's nice to be able to order a few different dishes.
I really enjoyed and will be back for that classic Chinese vibe
Got takeaway about 9pm after long day travelling, and unpacking -so booked a meal at Dragon, excellent Chinese 20 years ago when I last lived here - very , very disappointing-- minls vegetables bland and tasteless, and gelatinous - dumplings great , but pad Thai also very tasteless and disappointing . Delivery relatively quick but no smile or courtesy .
Overall a big disappointment after 20 years away with one great meal about 6 years ago when I returned for a break.
Went down to the Dragon Chinese Restaurant after seeing the menu and reviews online. The staff were very friendly and conversational. As I was one of the first if not the first person in when they opened, I really couldn't comment on atmosphere, but the food was really nice.. I guess they'll be seeing me again soon.. Possibly early New Year.
Today was our second time of eating in the restaurant and both times we have absolutely loved it. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, today the owner was there and made the time to chat with us before we ordered. The food was absolutely delicious. This is now a favourite of ours and a restaurant we will recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much, Dragon Chinese, we will be back.
Extremely limited, fixed price menu, cheap, low quality food (never been given ONE spare rib on a lettuce leaf before). Whilst we were eating, the proprietor swept the floor right behind our chairs, bashing the wooden broom into table and chair legs, bash, bash, bash, like a scene out of Fawlty Towers. It was so bad, it was funny!
Exceptional service, staff were very attentive and polite from when we arrived to when we left. Food was excellent quality with little wait time. Would definitely recommend and will be going back again!
