My mum was a patient in this surgery the reception staff were always lovely to her but Dr Maddipatti is a joke and should be struck off !!!
My mum become unwell Sept 2023 she went in as her eyes went yellow and body swelled in parts the doctor said she had jaundace she had bloods done and liver function came back as abnormal she was left for months and hospital apponiments were made for Nov even tho test results were abnormally high !
Doctor wasnt bothered she went back Jan 3rd 2024 to be told you need to go the hospital , receptionist said should we phone a ambulance for maddipatti to say no let her get a taxi !!!
My mum was admitted to Whiston hospital on the 3rd Jan and died on the 20th with liver failure and we were told if my mum was treated back in Sept 2023 she would of survived with the right meds
If Dr Maddipatti is your doctor please change as my mum is not the first person to be failed by this doctor
Receptionists are really friendly & helpful, as for the Drs here at this surgery need to buck up their ideas & strive for getting their acts together. So many incidents now were my Dad whose on end of life, I am having to run around last minute even though I & the MacMillan & District nurses have contacted surgery days prior needing prescriptions or books sanctioned or signed. This has caused undue stress & anxiety that’s unavailable due to the Drs at this surgery not doing their jobs correctly, and these practitioners think they’re under paid ???? Back to college & a kick up the back side.

I'm going to file a complaint today. The nurse (triage nurse ) was quite rude on the phone. She asked why I had not given my daughter paracetamol. It was her tone of voice in how she asked me ..confirming her attitude was the fact my husband took my daughter for a water infection. He was asked why he did not know what antibiotics she had had in the past. Another nurse asked how does he not know. The nurse said "because he's dad". How rude. I wouldn't have been spoken to like that if I would have been there. I don't want to use here again. Shocking coming from a nurse.
Review for Dr's surgery not walk in - Practice used to be brilliant with the old reception staff. Everything was done fast and effective. You was never 9th in the que most it was ever was 3rd. Prescriptions where done in the 24 hours and they was always lovely and most helpful since the new staff have been employed I have been on the phone 6 times for one prescription that low an behold still hasn't been done and told to "just wait and keep checking " with serious anxiety going back an forth is not easily done. New staff are not helpful and can see the surgery going down hill fast. Would love to know Where have the old staff gone so I know what surgery to move to. Such a shame.
Well I have to say, I went there a few weeks ago, waited 3 hours only to be told I need to go to hospital, which was fine because I did need to go to hospital & the staff was lovely in the Whiston hospital, the staff in Nutgrove Villa are really rude & I thought it was absolutely disgusting the way they spoke to me, I was really ill & they had really bad attitudes on them, to the point they made me cry & they still didn't care that I was upset, the way they went about telling me to go to hospital was awful & after waiting three hours to be ganged up on by 3 members of staff, I did not appreciate it, if I knew the names of the nurses from yesterday I would be putting a complaint in, I was too upset to go back & get their names, I won't ever set foot in that building ever again! Also the Triage staff are rude too, they should of told me from the start to go to hospital, but instead I waited 3 hours for nothing!! The whole place is an absolute joke!!!
Been a patient here for about a year, each time i’ve been to see the doctor they do not listen to my symptoms before providing prescriptions that still have not cured my illness. Today I rang up to amend a prescription and got the height of abuse from a very rude receptionist. Made me feel very uncomfortable and she put the phone down before we finished the conversation.
