I've had my fair share of issues with the surgery over the years with rude reception staff, not having calls answered, being sent for an MRI instead of a scan and so on - however I must say the recent changes have been positive. I really like using the online appointment request form as it is so much more convenient to use and can get an appointment quickly. Also there seem to be new staff at the reception - a gentleman named Patrick was incredibly helpful and polite. He also went above and beyond to help another patient who was clearly in a lot of pain. It's great to see compassionate individuals working here for a change
I really don’t get why people are putting one stars, years ago the telephone holding que did used to be poor, but for over a year now they have sorted the problem out.! they are really good once it comes to babies and toddlers, having doctors appointments. They also put people who have mental health into consideration Also once it comes to appointments. I think this is a really good GP. I’ve been here for years and won’t leave this GP there is an amazing receptionist called Danielle I think she is the best thing that’s ever happened to this GP. She has been very supportive towards me and she has helped me as much as she can. She actually genuinely cares about the patience’s, and she’s very compassionate. She’s not one of them that’s just comming in cos it’s “work” and it’s “pay” to be honest she is the only one I really want to talk to because she listens to me and understands me. Whereas other receptionists they’re not like that. I had my bloods done today because I have a phobia of needles and she went out of her way to support me and come with me to get the bloods done. She is an amazing receptionist We need more Danielle’s working in this gp.
While I had issues with the surgery in the past of appointments being moved without notifying me or getting them booked far in the future, I must say - that the situation in recent months has significantly improved.
Appointments happen in week time both over the phone and face to face.
So far so good!
If i could give 0 i would, can never get an appointment, always same response please call back at 8am, well ive tried to call 8am always in the queue by the time someone answers its past 9 or even 10 then told same again call back 8am, i never use doctors or go A&E but when i actually need an appointment i never get one, when you do get appointment doc is either sick or it gets cancelled. Never get face to face appointment, alot of people will die needlessly due to not picking up diagnosis earlier.. When dr Rahman ran the surgery it was a great place, now its horrible, 7 months for 1 appointment ridiculous. They need to fix up real quick.
Save yourself a time! Don't even bother coming here.
Been a patient at this clinic for over 6 years and can't be dealing with this no more. My luck is I barely ever have any health issues, but for those in need won't be able to make an appointment, unless you come in early in the morning and wait before clinic is open. Which is difficult for those who is working. Don't even try to call them as no one will pick up anyway. Automated booking system makes no sense either. I have same phone number for over 9 years and my records wouldn't match to proceed with the booking. It's a joke.
So thank you very much for your time. I'm leaving this surgery like immediately!
Absolutely disgraceful service. This GP does not realize peoples lives are potentially at risk due to their appauling service, negligence and lack of urgency. Every single receptionist is extremely unprofessional and some doctors are also very rude.
They have little to no patience whatsoever. I would like to add, doctors need to remember patients are no medical professionals and we do not know medical terms for our symptoms and problems so PLEASE try and be a little bit more empathetic (if you can, as you aren't able to do many things)
I appreciate COVID has slowed things down, but the service is just awful and this surgery is very VERY negligent. Also, please start picking up your phone calls because it's VERY frustrating having to wait hours on the phone just for an appointment (which you don't even give)
The only good thing about this place is that they reply to emails pretty quickly, despite the emails being written very unprofessionally.
Avoid at all costs, making an appointment is almost impossible!
And if you do they treat you worse than animals.
A lot Staff are vile, not all but most of them.....
Doctors couldn't care less.
There is only 2 very good doctors which you can never see.
Blood tests even worse, waited 50 minutes even though I had an appointment.
What has happened to humanity?
It doesnt matter what time you try calling the line says can't put you through due to high call volumes. Automated booking system does not work.
I have been trying for 3 weeks now.
When you try to check in for an appointment if you actually get one, it takes ages to get them to check you in as the queue is always massive.
Dr asher is really nice though, the only positive thing i can say about this surgery.
There comes a time where we have to stop using covid as an excuse for poor services
