Love to come here when in Kirkley. With artisan yummy bread and home made cakes Desmond combines excellent food and service with old world charm and humour. You won't be disappointed. Best coffee in Lowestoft and a good meal menu.

Genial host Desmond opens the relaxed and stylish Dr Johnson's coffee shop from 8 til 3 Tuesday through to Saturday,. Apart from a great coffee he rustles up toast or crumpets for breakfast , homemade pie and mash for lunch and freshly baked scones too. On the 28th of each month you can book to sample one of his much loved pizzas,.
Tiny cafe run by the enegmatic Desmond who is very eccentric. Come here if you want a relaxing coffee and a home made pie with a choice of fillings. Service is always bright with a faulty towers sense of humor.
