I had only a few appointments at this surgery after reccently moving from my previous surgery. I was seen by the nurses and had the pleasure of speaking to Dr Burns also, they are incredibly kind and well mannered team here, the reception staff are bright and friendly. Im really pleased with my service and support at the surgery. We dont give them enough credit and there jobs are never easy! Thank you Pool health centre you are all angels!
Keep getting my repeat prescription wrong. Can’t get an appointment let alone see someone face to face! That klinik form is a joke. Patient care is awful, my husband was told they didn’t pay much attention when he put something on his form as everyone says that! Appalling.
The carnto coast let my sister down especially Dr Mowlam my sister got a phone call from her and I begged for doctor to go see her at her home as she was really struggling with her breathing pains in belly sick not eating not drinking unable to get out of bed liquid poo in her colostomy bag but all Dr Mowlam did was phone call and put it down to anxiety and did not bother to help her my sister died the next day at the age of 56 years old I even gave the doctor my number on Klinik but I was not called so I could be with my sister so she did not die alone on phone call my sister asked for doctor to call me but she never did just left my sister to die these Klinik are rubbish cost my sister her life I think carnto coast should get rid of Kliniks and the doctor Dr Mowlam should do the right thing and quit as who is going to suffer next who is the next person or family that she is going to destroy like she has done to mine I will never get over what she has done and never forgive her for just leaving my sister and letting her down and letting her die all alone what she went through before she died destroys me as I feel I let her down as she was all alone Dr Mowlam as never said anything to me nothing got another doctor to say sorry for youre sisters deathher nothing shows she don't care please do not see her as you and you're family could be suffering like I am and always will
I don't understand why the online service shuts down when they are busy or under staffed. All that happens is it makes contacting the surgery by phone near on impossible, unless you have a spare minimum of one hour to wait for a call to be answered.
If you must shut the online service at least let me know before I fill out the whole form, only to submit it and then be told the service is closed.
I thought I’d write a quick review to say how friendly and welcoming the team were at Pool surgery today . Silly me got the ‘phone ‘ appointment wrong and turned up for the appointment. The Dr rang me whilst I sat waiting !
but .. instead of turning me away insisted I come through and still see him, he explained that sadly it seems they can get to treat more of us in a day quicker by phone as there is not enough DRs or funding and that they too miss the personal touch of face to face .
Well I for one can say it was nice to see this familiar smiling face that’s made me feel listened to and cared for for over 30 years ! ????
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of an appointment with Dr Trevail who was wonderful! Despite it being a 7pm appointment and him having been at work since very early in the morning, he was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond in his treatment of me. I came away already feeling better just by talking to him! I have always received excellent care from all staff at this surgery and klinik is really quick and easy to use with a fast response time. I would highly recommend Carn to Coast.
Absolutely disgusted the way I have been treated.
Klinik not working on Mon, posted on Tues my health issue. Late Thurs got a text msg, to say that they have booked me an appointment for 30th November !
That's 7 weeks away. Clearly they don't value people of pension age nor take our health conditions seriously.
I shall be going there to discuss this.
Thankyou to Dr Gilbert for the way she has been treating my wife. A very caring person like all the medical staff .
