It’s a shame that this surgery has gone downhill
Used to be dr siani now all you will see are paramedics when not well
There should be a senior clinician not over stretched paramedics who try their best
Maybe I shouldn’t be so judgemental as the main dictor needs to see private clients
This ‘Doctor’ neglected my family member in excruciating pain while deteriorating with cancer. A paramedic had to step in to provide proper medical care. The practice is unprofessional and needs, in my opinion shutting down. The reception staff do the best with what they have but my experience is only rudeness and a ‘So what’ attitude from them. 6 weeks on she has passed away so I hope he is awake at night knowing he could have done more for her in her time of need.
Me and my family have been using Dr Bekas and his surgery for many years. We have always found everyone very pleasant and informative. They will also go the extra mile unlike the larger practices.
I was kicked out of the surgery without notification or any mail. I tried booking appointments several times before then but no available time. The day I finally got one, I was told by the receptionist sorry I can't find your name on our record again. No prior notice or message to inform. This was 2 weeks ago. I'm still trying to get another surgery to register with.
I registered here as my previous
gp practice you always had trouble getting them to answer phone and always in a long que on phone had to call at set times and wait few weeks for an appointment! I had enough . But this place, Dr. Bekas is stress free for me. I can always speak to receptionist on phone and you never wait long on phone, AND ive been stunned i can get appointments easily! Its intimate as its a small surgery in a house, neat, compact friendly efficient, clean.????????
I called in to say that my new born baby is showing cold-like symptoms. The receptionist said that there is nothing they can do until I get him registered. Apparently, the registration is much more important than attending a medical need of a days’ old baby.
I highly suggest that no one register with this GP. I have had worse experiences than this, so I always go directly to the hospital. They do things according to their own timing and even forget our concerns. Once I had to continuously call and remind for a renewal of prescription, finally I ended up going to the hospital for it.
I have two small children got chicken pox and they were both very sick and they removed are register without telling us. by law they should give us at least a month's notice before they let us out. My wife were very upset she phoned surgery they said we have been removed by DR Bekas without any reason. After they have discussed to keep us but I have changed the surgery.
Been registered there for about a year, I've never seen a doctor, I do not know who Dr.Bekas is (woman or a man)? I always spoke to receptionist only, I am not sure they have real doctor in this place????♀️
I was recently pregnant and needed help as I was in pain and really worried, the receptionist asked me for a wee sample and texted me after it's negative. Till today I do not know what she was testing me for and why she needed my wee. I sent email to doctor and he responded he can't do nothing for me. Later on I found out in hospital that my pregnancy has ended and I was carrying dead fetus. I left this surgery after this.
