What an absolutely outstanding garage. I'm so glad to have found them. Downton Gifford are without doubt the finest garage I've come across in a very long time. And I've tried loads. They are supper friendly, endlessly helpful and patient (despite the constant stream of old bangers I chuck their way) and really reasonably priced too. I can't recommend them highly enough. If there were six stars available, they would have them!
Absolutely 1st class service. I was in a difficult situation with my car and needing to travel the same day. Nick went well above and beyond to help me out. Friendly, extremely helpful and an absolute professional.

Called in for somebody to do an MOT for me and I asked for the wrong person, rather than politely asking me what I was calling for and seeing if they could help the woman started screaming down the phone that the person wasn't there and put the phone down. Very very rude person and would not recommend this garage at all. Maybe when the owner reads this he will put this battle axe of a woman on a customer service course, if she is the owner or one of them then they just as well shut up shop now.
What an amazing level of skill and knowledge the chaps here have, it's verging on witchcraft the way they worked their magic on my car, nothing was too much trouble, I received such a warm welcome from one of the owners Martin, I must say his customer relation skills are the sort of thing legend's are made of and still make me feel emotional when I think about our first meeting, Martins apprentice Chris worked on my car and his work was second to none especially as he's still at the learning stage of his career, to top it all off martin was kind enough to taxi me home whilst my car was in for the work!, 5 stars guys keep up the great work! ????????????????????
