New to the area so didn't have any prior recommendations. Gary was extremely helpful and got me booked in last minute and pre-ordered parts as I said I really needed the job done on the same day. Professional and friendly local garage, will be using in the future.
This is the second time I have used this garage and have received great service both times. Would not hesitate to recommend Gary and his team.
Didn't use this garage as unfortunately they were closed on Sunday when I needed an urgent check on my car but the fact that they called me back the next day after seeing the missed calls to check was really kind. So if I need a garage and I'm down Bristol again I would contact them

Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. They tell you the truth and are very trustworthy, I have been to other garages and didn't trust them an inch, but these guys are GREAT. They won't tell you that you need something done if it doesn't need doing. Really do recommend.
Highly recommended small independent garage. Has MOTd, serviced and repaired our cars for years. Perfect for vehicles out of warranty period. Called around for some quotes to replace the gearbox and clutch in my Ford Focus, and Downfield Garage came back with the most reasonable price, so I booked the work in. So glad I went with them - the mechanics were really clear about the work they were carrying out, the quality of the repair has thus far been excellent and no issues 2 weeks on. Found my new local garage!
Really friendly mechanics and garage. They went out of their way to look into a longstanding fault my car has, doing some detective work on my behalf, for no added cost.
