Completely wasted my time today. Had car booked in for 9am. Rang at lunchtime noone could tell me anything. Rang back at 4.30 and told it hadn't been looked at yet and wouldn't be seen today. Bloke behind counter like nodding dog just smiling and nodding and passing the book saying it wasn't him who booked it in. Didn't even apologise initially. Really messed me around and attitude stinks. Won't be going back.
Fuel leaking so was recommended this garage. Turned up without appointment and explained I had a planned journey to make so ideally needed a repair quickly.
Mechanic was polite and helpful and inspected car there and then, diagnosed a faulty fuel filter. Had the part delivered within half hour from local supplier, fitted and was on my way within an hour of turning up. Based on my experience can highly recommend Doughty Brooks for first class customer service, professionalism and very reasonable charges. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brought my car in for a handbrake repair they diagnosed the issue and realised it was the cables that needed replacing. Work was carried out efficiently and at a good price, i will definitely be returning here for any future repairs.

They just fix stuff, no nonsense and don't charge for 'sundries' like main dealers do, friendly staff who don't talk down to you.
