Best KPortal Reviews
Stopped here after an February MTB ride, very friendly and hospitable although only just a few small tables inside. I had the Chicken Tikka Pannini with a fresh side salad, delicious, fresh coffee all made in clear view. Clean indoor toilet, and a number of outside benches for warmer days.
We had a really nice cuppa and cake here on Sunday afternoon after a walk. It's a lovely, cosy place and we had a good chat to the friendly and welcoming owner and other customers. Would have liked to try some of the other food on offer, but will wait until next time as I'm sure we'll be back. There's a loo, plenty of parking, and an antiques and curios shop next door. Recommended.
My mate and I came upon this magical little tearoom by chance whilst looking for somewhere else on a ride out on our motorcycles.
We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed chatting to the lady behind the counter aswell as the other customers. We had a light lunch and hot drink, both of which were delicious. We were let into another unit and left to browse the contents of antiques and curios.
All in all a fabulous little find & we will be back. Lovely craft items also for sale.
Well worth a visit.
The pies, sausage rolls and cakes are home made too.
Dog friendly.
Martin.
Extra special service received this morning, along with the usual warm welcome and comfortable atmosphere. With notice, Owner - Debbie was able to source a gluten free plant based breakfast for me, and provide a standard full English for my friend. The food was piping hot and plentiful.
It made our regular catch-up breakfast more enjoyable and was much appreciated by us both.
Large car park.
Lovely welcome on a rainy day. Dogs were welcomed, along with damp owners. Brilliant cake & perfect cups of tea.
I visited crafty Barns because of a friend recommended it. I had some spare time and was at a loose end so my wife and I visited, and glad I did. They have some unique crafts made by some very talented people. The owner Debs is welcoming and the salt of the earth. The only problem I have is I can't stop my wife from buying something every time we go, but then again I do get a lovely slice of cake and cuppa. Well worth a visit and highly recommend
What a great little find. Homemade cakes, and paninis and jacket potatoes. Lovely lady that owns it. Will definitely return.
I turned up shortly before closing, was served with a smile and given as long as I needed to eat and drink. The cakes were outstanding and the tea was perfect. I will visit again any time I'm in the area
