Lovely falls in a mature woodland setting. Both peaceful and rather awe inspiring.
If you are feeling fit and adventurous, you can make your way up from the viewing platform to some super stone bridges and great views of the valley below and surrounding hills.
Beautiful place to visit.
The car park is just off the main road and the waterfall is literally a few minutes walk away.
There are steps going up and around the waterfall so you can get a great view from all angles
A cafe is right between the car park and waterfall but it's only open for the summer season.
If you are on the Talyllyn Railway then make sure you break up your journey with a trip to Dolgoch Falls. I nice (not too steep) walk up to the falls but on the ways there is lots to see and remember to keep looking back to tak in the views of the Talyllyn Railway viaduct that spans that part of the valley.
Lots of great photo opportunities and the walks are all well signposted and expecially signs back tp the raliway station are most visible.
Absolutely magnificent! What a show of God's beautiful creation! Walking around there feels like you are walking inside of God's painting, feels like you are in the canvas????✝️????✝️????
Great waterfall, worth a stop if in the area. Only around 5 mins to reach the lower falls main attraction, upper falls we didn’t bother but think around 40 mins loop.
PLEASE NOTE: As of 05/11/23 there are quite unofficial looking signs taped up everywhere saying the waterfalls are closed and maintenance is ongoing to fix dangerous access. This is NOT the case and at least up until the lower falls is all open as usual. I suspect a resident could be trying to stop people visiting.
One of the few beautiful waterfalls easily accessible to those with limited walking abilities. Only 150 yards or so from car park and well surfaced walkway.
What a wonderful day out!
Such a beautiful walk, there is a lot of incline steps though, so I’d suggest good walking shoes and a moderate level of fitness to be able to complete this with ease!
Dogs are welcome here, and there were a lot of kids on the lower level of the waterfalls.
A lot of places to be able to sit down and eat a picnic also.
Lovely easily accessible walk a few steep buts but easy enough. Lovely scenery all the way and right at the top, a beautifully serene area to chill.
