My boyfriend and I are new to the village. We brought our Seat Ibiza here for front discs / pad and a fuel pump replacement (whining near tank). We disconnected our dash cams leaving the USBs dangling and removed the SD card before dropping our car off.
We were called to come and collect the car. I believe we spoke with Dan.
The garage had shaved the front brake pads and said discs were fine.
Dan stated that timing chain had been installed too tight, was the cause of whining noise, not the fuel pump.
We then told Dan the cambelt had been replaced in late Sept 2023 (5 months ago) so must take Ibiza to Seat Vospers for inspection.
We paid £156 for diagnosis to find that the timing belt was installed perfectly, but Seat had to replace the brake pads and discs that DMS touched less than 48 hours before.
We were also informed that our dashcams had been physically and brutally disconnected at the fuse box below the steering wheel.
DMS made no mention of interfering with the wiring, nor did they restore it when returning.
We feel that DMS tampering with the dashcam was quite malicious, and potentially dangerous. considering we had disconnected out of courtesy beforehand.
Beat our experience in mind if you are considering a visit.

We were on holiday in Devon when the Alternator decided to fall apart! Someone who helped us recommended Wrangaton Motors. Phoned first thing Monday morning, explained the problem they said if we could take the car to them and leave it they should be able to fix it at some point during the week, which is what we did. First thing Tuesday morning, less than 24 hours later, had a phone call saying car had been fixed with new Alternator and ready to collect. Can’t thank them enough! Got our holiday back on track in no time at all! Excellent friendly service and at a reasonable price! Thank you!
My car broke down just down the road from DMS Motors. I went in on the off chance and one of the team immediately came to help move my car into a safer position off the road and provided coolant as the engine had overheated. I am very grateful for their help in my time of need!

Great service as always, car went for MOT, got phone call to let me know of adviseries and quote as requested, nothing too much trouble for these guys, dropped me back at work and picked me up once work completed, excellent work and good customer service. Highly recommended.
Had my car serviced. Good customer service and picked me up & dropped me off. Price however was a little higher than expected at over £300 for a full service. Would like to use again but not sure I can keep affording that for my older car.
Only ever come to Dan and the lads when I need my car or bike seen to. Simply wouldn't go anywhere else. Thoroughly professional, always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to help out. Thanks guys.
