First time visiting Dips. The manager, Marta I believe was her name, was extremely professional and provided sound advice, I cannot commend her high enough. When I first entered Dips, I approached two other members of staff, they were not helpful, in fact virtually turned their back on me. If Marta had not intervened I would have left the shop, as it was I was glad of the help from Marta, I will use this pharmacy again, but will avoid the two I mentioned, who I believe were mother and daughter. I went into the chemist the other week to get my mums medication and I was greeted by a women (I’m not 100% sure of her name but it began with an M) that was rather unpleasant and couldn’t have been more unhelpful if she tried. She wasn’t just blunt she was rude, I can’t be 100% sure what she was saying, but she had the audacity to come away from the counter and slag me off! I have never been treated in such a manner in all my life!
So much so, I left! When I did eventually calm down and return I was greeted by a lovely lady called Julie. She couldn’t have been more helpful, going above and beyond to advise and help me with my mum’s medication. She will be the only reason that I continue to use this chemist!
Previously highly rated but it seems like they do not give a damn anymore (maybe due to changes internally? ). They owe me my last prescription in full and told me that they bring it round once they got it but this did not happen in 2 months. seems like they are going under. getting my regular meds from a different, responsible pharmacy. stay away if you want your chemist to care!
Not sure what's happened to this chemist? It doesn't open on time, you have to wait for your prescription to be made up even if its been there for a few days. There is only ever 1 person serving even when there is a queue and had a few times where medication is owed. Dips used to be my 1st call before going to the GP because they were so helpful. The staff are still polite and helpful but it's just not as efficient.
Dips always takes time to advise on and explain any medication problems .
He is patient and informative

The.shop is bright and immaculate and has an array of stock . Useful if you need to buy a little last minute gift .
Dip is more a friend than a pharmacist! Nothing is too much trouble for him and the hours over & above the norm he works to help others out are amazing.
His staff are similar and on christian name speaking with customers.

Appalling total chaos,only went in there for a packet of cocodamal ,there was a man waiting for his prescription at the front of the queue who had been waiting over ten minutes,he told me that he handed in his prescription on Thursday last week and they was doing it there and then it should have been ready for him after all that time ,when I was eventually served I left and the queue was 8 deep . Appalling
what a shambles this chemist has become,for the last 6 months i've been having to fight them for my medication,that keeps me alive,they have no right playing god with peoples lives,i have reported them to GMC,for neglect
