The quality is okay but nothing special, it need improvement it was good back the day , the sauce for the chilli and garlic I couldn’t recommend please make some changes for improvement

A popular Cambridge kebab van has won a prestigious accolade at the second annual Turkish Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (TURTA). The Best Diamond Kebab, on Arbury Road, was named Kebab Van of the Year at a recent ceremony.
The awards help to promote and celebrate the importance and popularity of Turkish cuisine in the UK. Members of the public voted for their favourites with winners and finalists in a wide range of categories.
The ceremony was held on Sunday, November 5th 2023 at the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel in London. Diamond Kebab, who also won their award last year, was the only winner to come from Cambridgeshire.
I actually live on the other side of Cambridge, travel here for the kebab, usually expected is around £12 ect for a meal for 1 so I wasn’t having high hopes of it being any cheaper, but once I looked at the menu, I was taken by surprise the meals were actually cheaper which then made me think, cheap food? Cheap quality? Anyways I but the bullet and got a meal, surprisingly it caught me off guessed on how tasty their donnor actually taste! Tasted like real meal with marination! Superb value and amazing taste!
Waited 15 minutes for them to take my order in the mean time served 3 people that got there after me. Staff are also rude, shame it’s the best kebab around
First timer and it was absolutely delicious! They had four members of staff, uniformed, and everything looked very clean and hygienic. Got a shish kebab - tons of salad options, great portions, chicken was perfect, and sauce was great. Staff were very friendly and handed out lollipops to the kids waiting. Will be back, thanks!
Food Im sad to say was a bit on the dry side, I had mixed kebab and chips. Normally food delicious and fresh, this time very dry. Couldnt eat most of it.

Best kebab in cambridge always have a shish kebab and always cooked by my favourite person. Perfection all the way
They got my order wrong (seems to happen more frequently, see other reviews), so perhaps better order when you are in front of the van and can correct them? Also, the portions could be a bit more generous, but the kebab is nice and the price is okay. Overall, clearly much better than Deniz kebab, but Arbury Kebabs around the corner remains for me and my wife by far the best (more generous portions and simply better)!
