Went into the dessert shop and staff was on their phone and it wasn't welcoming. Didn't seem busy and not alot of hospitality.
I wouldn't come again also the milkshakes were runny and not thick, the cookie dough wasn't big at all and it all melted to one side of the takeaway container.
Went for the first time yesterday and will definitely be going back! The owner was in and he really looked after us! Sat us at the table and even took time to recommend things! He was a really nice welcoming guy and this made the experience of the visit even better. The cookie dough was absolutely delicious! People really need to try this place! A little hidden gem on the quieter side of donny Road! They also deliver too! I'll definitely be a repeat customer!
Ordered via Uber eats. Used to order from here regularly but recently the portion sizes have gone down while the prices have gone up.
Ice cream quality has changed and you only get a small spoons worth in a tub. Also tasted like the cheap yellow ice cream you get in supermarkets.
Ordered peanut butter stack and received a thin slice that had clearly been microwaved so much it melted into a puddle since the portion size couldn’t support itself.
Doughnuts used to be fresh, warm and covered in toppings. Now they don’t even put a biscuit on the biscoff ones. And you only get half a Ferraro. Sauce portion reduced and replaced with sugar. Not very nice.
Also ordered jam roly poly and received the smallest sliver with half a tub of custard.
Not very happy considering the price. It’s a shame really as it used to be quite nice.
Absolutely disgusting service ordered food at 7pm and had still not arrived by 10pm. I contacted the restaurant on two occasions and on the second occasion the phone was put down on me.
Amazing place and customer service. Desert was really nice and not shy with the portions. We tried a few different deserts and was not disappointed! Will definitely keep ordering! ???? recommend!
Me and my partner went for a Jam Roly Poly and Pancakes. Ross served us inside the shop and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The desert itself was gorgeous! Would 100% recommend...
Milkshake like it’s out of a carton from Asda. No thickness like it should do. Cheesecake was like pouring cream with some smashed up digestives chucked into it. Hot puddings all cold and smoothie half full. Could’ve gone to the Asda and made it all myself and been more satisfied. Absolute waste of £35 will never order from here again places like this give the good dessert shops a bad reputation as it makes you not want to order one again. Champagne prices with monkeys who are paid peanuts and have no care in the world
Just ordered 2 chocolate donuts and a Banana ice cream.
Donuts arrived in a shallow box with all the topping stuck to the lid of the box, so ended up with a sugar ring donuts.
Banana ice cream is not creamy at all very icy and tasted very chemically.
Very very disappointed. Will not be ordering again.
