Over priced for what it is. The burger meals don't come with anything, so you have to order chips etc separately which works out £9.25 for a burger and chips.
I had the omelette which was really not very nice at all. And that was £7.50.
Ridiculous prices for a cafe.
The place is pretty run down and needs a good makeover. Service was friendly but very slow. Wouldn't be returning.
Quite a nice place staff always make you welcome. The food is served quick and piping hot and fresh. Only thing I will say is the menu has been the same ish for years. Why don't put things on the specials board start adding to menu. Keep the best sellers on menu ditch the dinners that don't really sell
Looks like a loving room from the 70s. Store room door located inside the door for the women's toilets, so when bringing out stock, it looks like it's coming from the toilets! Food not overly great, would do if you were starving and couldn't get anywhere else. Staff not particularly friendly or welcoming. Wouldn't go there again.
Great food and open 24/7. Not many places locally and that do an all day breakfast this good.
Lovely, fresh & very clean diner with good menu options. Has its own car park and outdoor seating in garden. Fast service and keenly priced. Would be happy taking my young family. NOT your typical greasy spoon!!
I had a lasagne my partner had a steak and ale pie. Boy the food was delicious. The waitress showed us a lengthy list of vegetables and we could choose three each to go with our mains. I had carrots, parsnips and leeks. He had carrots, parsnips and cauliflower cheese. I think you could choose chips or salad instead of veg. The meals were very tasty, looked home made and were good sized portions. The waitress offered tea refills but we were fit to burst! It was great to have proper vegetables as an option and not just the option of chips filling up the plate! I'm sure the English breakfasts go down a treat here but we thought we'd have a 'proper' meal and it was certainly worth it! A modest looking place from the outside, we were glad we decided to stop.
This turned out to be a really convenient spot for a late lunch, complete with well priced alcoholic drinks. And none of the usual "kitchen is closed" nonsense. Service was perfect, very quiet at that time, so a bit short on atmosphere. Food nicely prepared too.
Trying to find somewhere to eat in the way home... Deep Mill Diner came up on the cat sat nav so thought we'd give it a go. Good selection on the menu plus a specials board. We had scampi and chips... Great size portion at a good price.
