I recently visited Daynight Pharmacy near barking station and I must say it was a wonderful experience for a patient in distress . The staff was supportive and helpful during the whole process of consultation, the pharmacist was quick to respond to my queries and helped me out with the prescription and guided me on the right medicine and details regarding it .
I would suggest anyone who is looking for right pharmacy for their medicines, this is the place you can trust .

My parents who doesnt speak english very well went to this pharmacy on a sunday to get my private prescription depression medicines and some melatonin to aid me sleep. I havent taken my depression pills for 2 days and since this pharmacy was the only open one they went there out of necessity. First they tried charging a total of £350 for 4 boxes of medicine, but my parents were shocked and they refuse. Then they said £250 to them and my parents agreed because it was necessary for me to use my depression pills. I found out about the price 2 days later and went there to request a cost breakdown recepit. They refused to give me a written copy of cost breakdown of these medicines and just told me how much the medicines was. At that time i only collected my depression medicines and not the melatonin so I had the right to refund every penny. They refused a refund and told me that I need to come back tomorrow to meet the manager(I guess same person as the pharmacist Sam on other reviews). When I met this manager the manager told me that none of their customers were using melatonin and so therefore if we refund the medicine the company will take a loss and it will cause a lot of trouble for him. After negotiating me with lies that he will lose his job he made some calls and we got £100 back (melatonin alone was £150). Then out of curiosity I went to other pharmacies around to ask for the price of private prescription melatonin (same exact brand) and they told me they were selling it for less than £25. So this guy just lied to my face about his job and talks to me about a man keeping his word (during negotiations he mentioned man to man if we wanted to refund why did we order it in first place.). Never use this pharmacy even if you are close to death.
I feel it really important to warn anyone who might use this pharmacy of the disgusting and quite honestly evil treatment me and my partner recieved from Sam (a Pharmacist who, if you look, has already been the topic of several poor customer reviews with similar experiences) Both me and my partner are on a methadone prescription in recovery for opioid addiction. Trying to better our lives. We are required to attend this pharmacy every day, which we do, we have never been late, never been anything but polite to the staff and had no prior issues here. I have always found Sam to treat me and my partner as less than, ignoring basic requests like measuring out our home does into seperate bottles for us, not opening my medication when asked and being careless with the measurements that he got wrong more than once and when we raised the issue calmly and rationally he sarcastically responded saying "oh no really we'll look into that for you". He has made prior comments that have been rude and inappropriate, saying to another customer who we were offering advice to "don't listen to these people they have nothing, no assests, nothing to lose"... it is clear that he considers us less than because of our addiction issues. Yesterday was the first day that we have ever shown up near to the closing time, it was 8:40 he immediately told us to leave and that f we don’t we would be bane. He was rude an defensive straight away and spoke to us as if we were being irrational and threatening, which we weren’t we were calm and simply asking politely for an explanation, we were also extremely apologetic for any inconvenience we had caused by coming nearer to the closing time. He then proceeded to say “You guys keep dong this”, “I’ve warned you guys about doing this”, “I’e told you not to come this late”.. all of these statements were entirely untrue, we have never had any warning abut being late from him or any member of staff for that matter, nor had we actually been to collect our prescription any later than 7/8 prior to that day. I myself am pregnant and it is very dangerous for the baby to withdraw from the prescribed medication, it can induce early labour and can actually be fatal to the baby. I was crying at how heartless and cruel he was being to us which he showed absolutely no compassion, humanity or mercy and continued to ignore me and my boyfriend standing outside the door he had locked in our face. A man/customer then came and knocked on the door and asked to be served, Sam proceeded to open the door, let the man in and serve him with us watching at the door still. I asked why we were being treated any differently, he said that the reason was that our medication was controlled and they had ‘locked it’ away. My boyfriend then near enough begged him to have the mercy to at least give me my dose knowing how dangerous not having it would be for our baby, after an appalling amount of pleading he agreed to give only me my prescription to which I questioned why my boyfriend should have to go without and suffer if the issue could be resolved as easily as him opening the cupboard and serving us, he could not give an answer and as a result said we both had to leave. This is someone who went out of his way to deny two deserving people their medication and chose to cause more trouble for everyone involved to inflict suffering on us simply because he thinks less of us for whatever reason. Being a ‘pharmacist’ he will have known more than most what it takes to both get on and stay on a script, he also kew that doing what he did would have likely resulted in a relapse and put two recovering addicts in a horrible position where they would use, for absolutely no good reason. To me this exceeds unprofessionalism and is actually someone who Is inhumane and quite frankly evil and should not have the power he has and should not be trustedwith the safety, health and well-being of ot. I do not say any of this lightly and really feel strongly that he needs to be removed from his position
I had a very good experience being to this pharmacy. The staff were very helpful and i have been recommended good medicines.
The best thing about this place is that they are open 7 days and on most days from 8am to 12 midnight. The staff here are very friendly and seem well trained and knowlegable. This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or nominate a pharmacy to get your medicines from. The only thing is that the location is not of the best.
The pharmacist at this pharmacy is a disgrace to the proffesion. . He is rude abnoxious, rude and I dont believe for a second that he is actually a fully qualified pharmacist. He blaitently only has a job there because it is most likely owned by his parents. He assulted a customer by pushing them. He discriminates against blue preacription clients (espranor and methadone preacriptions) it is disgusting hearing the things he has said about these clients. He argument be able to refuse addicts who are trying to recover from their addiction. He should be sacked for tgat alone as this will cause a client to relapse of they are refused thier medication. He wears glasses and has short Curly hair. Get rid of him. I will never use this chemist or recommend them to anyone whilst he ia employed there.
They are very money minded and just try to push irrelevant medicines. Their refund policy is very bad. Most of the prescription medications are not available with them.
