Went in to pick up a single script spent 40 mins waiting while staff chatted about complete waffle.
Stopping every keystroke to have a quick natter waiting on every bated breath to get another opportunity to chat about passing patients lives.
Might go the extra mile to help you but doing so leave some people waiting ages for a simple request
As per the other reviews, an up-and-down experience. Sometimes they're great (getting medicines by the next day), other times they've had my prescription for over a week without having ordered anything.
A nightmare to try and get on the phone too (maybe because they're busy), but working in Southampton and living in Gosport, being unable to contact them by phone is inconvenient.
They do need to up their game and become more consistently good.
If I could give no stars I would! I booked online via Patient Access to have a flu jab today. Arrived in time for my appointment to be questioned about how and when I had booked and was told they had no pharmacist who could give the injection. Could I 'pop back tomorrow'. By now it had cost me petrol and car park fee for nothing!. Totally INCOMPETENT!!
Just to adda positive review as most people will only add a review if they have a negative experience.
Never had a problem here and they are open until 11pm some days which is great for people who work for a living.had to queue a few times but that's the nature of a counter service.the main Dow side is having to deal with waterside medical centre next door to actually get the prescription in the first place!
Have never been so appalled and amazed at such poor service and they don't even care that things are so bad. Last month they said my meds had already been collected because they couldn't find them! I had to go home and wait 3 hours then phone them - oh yes they had been 'misfiled' so another journey to get them. This month they said they'd order them in - did they? - no! Yet another journey the next day. Do they care about a cancer sufferer? Do they hell!
Not even open when it says it is online!
Have used this Chemist for over 5years but today was a nightmare ! My husband went to pick up my repeat presription , had to wait over ten minutes while they tried to find it , then brought it home . When i opened the bag there was only two items instead of six . I couldn't get an answer on the phone so I went back to Chemist and explained that four items were missing . The assistant went off to get them and I realised they weren't even bagged so I had to wait for her to collect them all . The Pharmacist then brought them out to me and I explained that over half the :script had been missing , she just turned and went back to the counter , NO apologie No sorry Won't use them again , need more staff and more training in manners !!
Oh dear!! Slow, unhelpful and unprofessional. Dispensed incorrect medication with potentially disastrous results.luckily my partner is a nurse who spotted the error. When the pharmacist was confronted, she denied that it had any responsibility blaming the GP instead. Matter is now being taken further.
