We suffered two faulty fuel injectors on our C4 Grand Picasso on the way from Sheffield to Kendal for a family holiday. After being towed to our destination I phoned David the following morning. He was able to fit me in on the same day, diagnosed the problem and had the car fixed and ready to pick up by the end of the following day, allowing us to continue our holiday.
Communication was excellent throughout and David charged a very fair price for the work.
I would not hesitate to recommend this garage.
My van had an intermittent engine warning light on it. I was reluctant to take it back to the main dealer as I had several bad experiences with them. David was recommended by a friend so I took it there. I got excellent service. He plugged the van into his diagnostic system and identified the potential fault. He cleared the fault and as he was not 100% sure the fault was completely fixed he sent me way to run the van for a few days. All this for no charge! You can't beat that kind of service.
Such a lovely guy. I was a female in a fix, with my car leaking in water. He said to come back at 4 he would take a look and quote. But what he did is sort it there and then, no charge, and I was on my way. He could have easily just quoted a price and tell me he was booked up for weeks (which he was). True gentleman, thank you.????
This man is an absolute star! We broke down on our way to Scotland for a holiday so he saved our campervan and our much needed holiday. We can't thank him enough for his kindness as we literally descended on him without notice and he took the time out of his day to fix our van. Many thanks to him. What a decent nice fella.
Really genuine lovely chap who does what he says he will and if he can't fix it he won't charge till he does. MOT,EGR, electronics - always solved the problems no bother.

Had a problem with my car whilst on holiday there for a couple of days. Having checked out of our hotel we had a rattling vibrating problem with the back end of our car. Trying Kwik-Fit and being told we'd need to spend another night before they could look/fix the problem I thought I'd get a second opinion from a privately owned garage. We were put onto David from another customer that was in Kwik-Fits reception. Within 10 minutes of arriving at David Breaks the problem was located and solved and we were on our way. the problem was all 5 nuts had worked their way free and needed to be tightened. It's times like this that the privately owned one man band mechanics blows any chain out the water. Really accommodating friendly nice guy. All the chains have their targets to hit. Know what I'm saying?
