David fixed an electrical issue in our car that other mechanics didn’t want to waste time on finding, while charging a very fair price!
It seemed the previous mechanics knew it would take a lot longer to find the fault and so it wasn’t worth their time so they told me to try elsewhere.
David took it in despite being very busy. It took slightly longer to find the fault as it was so unknown and unusual, but David kept me updated throughout the process. After fixing it, he let me test drive the car to ensure it was 100%. He was up front about the costs of the parts bought and didn’t charge me an arm and leg to fix it. I couldn’t believe how reasonable it was. He is an honest hard working man and I can’t recommend him highly enough!
The electrical problem was fixed. But door lock was broken and punctured/empty tire. David did not admit their mistakes and for this blamed us. His behavia was inapropriate. We paid cash, but he gave no receipt and no guarantee. Expensive price and additional door repare. Not happy at all.
a sensor light come on in a 1998 bmw z3. Arrived to David’s son telling me “dads out he will be 10 minutes.” That was no problem. I waited, In the process a recovery lorry arrived with a van after me and another car arrived in. David then arrived back his son told him about me sitting and he went straight to the lorry and worked on the van: spoke to the other car driver and a further car arrived while they were moving vehicles around the yard, he spoke to them. 35 minutes waiting to be ignored for no reason and pushed aside. Had several classics and work needed but will certainly be going elsewhere…. That I understand people may have booked but I was not under any illusion to jump in-front of anyone but simply to make a booking for the car & inquire about booking in another couple also. David came highly recommend by a mechanic in waringstown & my neighbour who buys and sells cars, sadly this experience was very disappointing. But if any positive David’s son was very pleasant and helpful and was the only one who interacted and he certainly as helpful.

Not professional no people skills. To be brutally honest snapped a computer read out he had wrote on a scrap piece of paper out of my mums had who was standing in a body brace after a serious accident before Christmas. Completey discussted. I could go into more detail. Needles to say my mum paid him for a scrap piece of paper and was told to look the codes up for herself!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
