We got there made our order we went to pay and we were three pounds off the amount owed, the staff were rude when it came to asking if we could come back and pay the owed amount and a stranger politely offered to pay the rest of the amount, again the staff were rude about that part of our experience we even asked if we could change the meal that was too much for us to a cheaper meal for us and again the owner said” don’t order food from us if you can’t afford it” I found that rude and offensive.
We got home and went to eat our food, we looked in the bottom of the trays and it was swimming with grease brown grease at the bottom. We even found a brown hair from our server I would usually go there for a decent meal but today was a really off day for us I will go back but I hope for a better experience…
First time trying this place, great service, very quick, food was hot and very nice, chips could have done with a bit longer cooking but that is probably my preference not mark against their food.
Very un-cooperative to customers.

Well, why don't you have other options or the option to have a cone of chips???? The smallest you advertise is regular.....then I asked for a fork and you wanted 20p off me.... i was spoken to and looked at with the dirtiest look from yourselves or staff..

Had stewed steak meal deal £5.20
It's never seen steak best bit was the gravy I had 2 pieces of onions couple thin strands meat and peas were as sweet as eating sugar never again
For a small chippy in knutton I wasn't expecting much but on entering the walls are filled with delicious food options, but for my first visit it had to be a traditional fish chips and peas for £5 bargain!!!! I can't fault anything chips were cooked to perfection, peas weren't bright green and tastless they had flavour, and the fish was amazing the best piece of cod in lovely crispy batter WOW !!!!!
My partner had the Donna meet and chips ( I can't remember how much his was but we had plenty of change from £15 ) he also demolished this and has been constantly asking when our next day off together is so we can go back hahaha
Had sirloin steak meal great value for money huge portion staff and owners very friendly and helpful highly recommend will be returning very soon.
Jane & Dave always provide the finest of Fish meals.
Try something different, How about a Pea Fritter? Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.
Very friendly, delicious food and well priced, generous portions, very inviting atmosphere
