What a shop! Totally unexpected was how good a spirit and booze selection they had! And if you don't want to be merry on high end boozings everything else was immaculate and of good selection. Thean behind the till was a gent.

The new owners have really turned this shop around. Staff friendly and helpful. If they don't stock it they are happy to source it a start stocking it. Huge selection of alcohol and an array of food, fresh milk, bread, cheese and meat.

Disgraceful
Totally disappointed by their lack of community spirit and care for their older clients.
My Dad from Sacombe has had a paper delivered from them since they started the service. However he was called this week and told that this would stop because as their only customer in Sacombe they can’t waste time delivering to him as it is making them late for their Standon round.
He is 77 and can no longer drive due to his poor eyesight.
Perhaps they could have set off 5 minutes early to allow for the 1 mile journey.
Dear Mr shopkeeper,
here’s an off the wall suggestion.
How about putting price tags of the booze on the shelves?
Or is “guess the price” a way of life in these parts?
Best village store....ever. Staff couldn't do more, if there is something you need they don't normally stock , its there the next time you go in. Brilliant ????????????????
