What a wee gem of a place. A real Scottish B and B clean traditional decor with a few stunning genuine antiques peppered about and little conveniences that you would expect in a fancier establishment like nice toiletries and a hair drier. Duvet was nice and warm and bath towels decent size with plenty of hot water and a choice of bath and shower. Now for the best part. There is a pub attached and a great traditional Scottish pub it is with Duke box and pool and you can order food from the bistro next door at very reasonable prices. All food is fresh and really made our stay. Staff are efficient and friendly. We were served by lovely staff and in the morning in the rather chic wee bistro attached and again the breakfast was A1. We will be back and hopefully the have room for us.

A special shout out to our server, we didn't have a chance to ask for his name but he is Romanian. Probably safe to say he made our day ????
Also the mattrasses are very comfy and supportive

We loved our stay, we had great dinners and breakfast, the owners were lovely and staff attentive, great wee hotel especially if you are looking to hike around the area this will be a welcomed wee break.
This hotel is amazing value for money, stayed here a few times, we did rob roy way this week and stopped over five girls, the food was really outstanding in the evening and the breakfast was first class, the two ladies that were present in morning and served us were lovely as was the gentleman behind the bar in evening and checked us in. |Cannot fault dalgair stayed three times and would stay again, many thanks
Staff really friendly. Room was a little noisy from people outside late on. Room was cheap so great value.
Excellent hospitality- made to feel welcome and went extra mile to make us a packed lunch as we left before breakfast.
The room was large and spotlessly clean, bedding was soft and clean and beds comfy.
The dog was made very welcome.
The hotel is large and I can imagine it takes a lot of upkeep. Some aspects were looking tired but good value for money.
I have not seen rooms this bad. The twin room was booked for my elderly parents but on entering (& despite the windows being open, it was evident that the room was damp), the single beds were the narrowest I have ever seen so we swapped rooms as I feared they would fall out the bed. The bathroom in the twin room had a very large step up to it (again not ideal) & had signs of dampness. |The quilt cover was bobbled with age & the pillow was very hard. |The bedding in the double room was no better, straight from the mid 70’s. We were not expecting anything fancy but it’s honestly overdue that this place was overhauled & damp proofed. |The staff are all lovely but it does not deflect from the state of the rooms
Excellent bar and B&B|Really friendly and helpful staff |Any of the bad reviews you’ve read I’d totally ignore them.|Entertainment at the weekend, karaoke Friday and live music Saturday.|Decent prices at the bar|First time we’ve been here for a night in Callander and will definitely be back.
