Unfortunately he couldn’t fix car due to lack of skills for a higher end and latest transmission vehicles. Not a diesel car garage expert.
Best part was he was upfront to say no rather hide behind bushes.
I am impressed with the honesty and integrity shown by the professional customer service I received! Battery went flat. Had it checked by a mobile mechanic. The Diagnose was “Alternator is charging weak under load” and offered to replace it for me for £285! Had a booking at D & J Auto to have the alternator reconditioned for a very honest and reasonable quote. However when I went to pick up my car I was honestly told that there was nothing wrong with the alternator! It was charging the battery fine and there would be no charge for the job! It was only after I insisted that I should at least pay for the test, that Adrian reluctantly accepted a payment of £10! Where can you find such an honest businessman!!!
RAC managed to get me here with a dodge battery and alternator. It was a Sunday but luckily they were in doing their books. Even the RAC mechanic said I'd dropped on lucky with old school mechanics and be a better price than any of their pre recommended garages that were all closed. He was bloody right to hence my 5 stars.
I could not be more pleased with the service. Tricky electrical fault on my Peugeot 3008. The Peugeot garage wanted £125 to look at it and to keep it overnight and I would have to have time off work which I can't do just now because of the pandemic. I was just deciding that I would have to give up and accept that I'd be driving it with no ABS until the current wave is over. D and J electrical services fitted me in straight away and fixed it for £10 in about 20 minutes.
If I could give them 6 stars then I would!

Called the company last week to book in and have a stereo looked at in the car the guy on the phone said yeah no problem Monday’s when we have free can’t do morning so I spoke to my other half rang them back he then went why when do you want to come in morning? Well I thought you had nothing available in the morning? So anyway comes to the day we’re booked in turn up and he says there’s nothing I can do for you. DONT CALL YOURSELF AN AUTO ELECTRICIAN ON GOOGLE IF YOU CANNOT DO AUTO ELECTRICS!! waste of time and space guy can’t be arsed doing anything. Stated on the phone the issue may take an hour or so to fix and even called back to double check what sort of stereo it was. Yet can’t do anything on the day you turn up. Absolute joke.
