Great discovery. Lovely corner to enjoy after a big walk. Scone was delicious and good coffee. Lovely service too
Called for a coffee and cake yesterday, coffee was good but cake portions getting smaller!! Most shocking was the outside toilet, very cramped, no soap, nails exposed due to missing timber and unable to shut the door. Electric wires coming into the WC were exposed at ground level!!!
Great place to stop when out walking or having a day at the beach
We stopped here today after walking out to see the cast iron lighthouse. It was a very welcoming place to stop with lovely chatty people serving us nice looking homemade cakes and tea.
Sitting outside overlooking the bay was a great way to finish off our walk...
Dropped into the @cwmivy as we were passing after a 2.5 hour walk. The promise of a beautiful view and some cold drinks pulled us in. We had a coffee, a couple of cold drinks and a tea. The coffee was decent but the tea was a little tepid (hence the drop to only 4 stars), that said it was well presented. By all accounts it was a busy day for them, (based on the conversation we heard from the staff) and the wait for the drinks was not too long, but when you have the view that they do from the garden it's nice not to be rushed. The staff were young but polite, and there is scope for this place to be really busy in the summer months. Check it out if you're not in a rush, enjoy the location, but most of all enjoy contributing to the local economy. I think if visited this place on a beautiful day out of season you would put it down as a 'real find'.
Lovely setting and views. Brilliant stop off after our walk on the beach. Was quite popular and we were able to sit with the dogs looking over the marshes. Had a lovely hot chocolate and my mum had a tea. They served panninis and ice cream I believe and probably other things! We would re visit if back in the area. Also a fab free car park just outside the village. Short walk down hill to the village.
Stopped here during one of our walks in the area. We had some coffee and cakes and really enjoyed the view over the estuary (even though we didn't spot many birds) . It was a very welcomed break. From here it's only a few minutes walk down to the beach.
Beautiful location overlooking the salt marsh, had a nice cup of tea, coffee and some home made, home grown tomato and sweet pepper soup!
Husband had a pumpkin flapjack, said it was top notch! Dog friendly, cute little cottage garden, indoor and outdoor seating.
Other food available and dog ice cream too!
There's a car park further up the road (quite a steep but short walk) with a honesty box at the gate for payment.
Love to pop in here after a walk down to the beach!
Beautiful little Cafe with fantastic Views. Very Friendly Staff, a fantastic cup of tea and lemon drizzle cake to die for. A great experience on a lovely warm day.
