Fantastic hidden gem!
Cute little tea room with friendly staff, lovely views of the river and tasty food.
Vegan and vegetarian options available, good portions and beautifully presented.
The location is beautiful. Sat near the balcony and looked out towards water. It was so peaceful. It got busy quickly and we arrived as they were opening.
Everything cooked fresh to order so be mindful of the wait. But worth it.
Bacon sandwich and cheese crumpets were lovely. If your looking for a big breakfast, it's not the place to visit. But by the look at a great afternoon tray selection.
What a lovely tasty breakfast we had this morning all cooked to order. Met lovely Dave who prepared our drinks and cooked our food, also giving our little dog Winnie water and doggy treats. This really is a gem of a place. The music was good and the view from the window to the steam very calming. Will be repeating very soon. Thank you ????
We came to Crumbs yesterday for lunch after a reccomendation from a friend and we were very impressed! It is set inside the Chesapeake mill and is the cosiest little cafe.
The menu has lots of choice, including all day breakfast options and plenty of sandwich fillings. The Sweet and Savoury tea trays were incredible and so well priced for the amount of food you are given - it was like having a little picnic just for me.
The food was all fresh and delicious and the staff were so friendly. If it's still on the menu try the creme egg brownie scotch egg, I can't stop thinking about it!!
We will definitely be back! If you want to try it call and book a table as they do get busy.
Only stopped for a quick drink and snack. Really friendly staff in nice quaint surroundings. We'd certainly go back and try something more substantial.
Located within the Chesapeake antique shop this cafe is a hidden gem. We had a tea tray, an assortment of traditional lunch bits well presented, and a sandwich all of which was very tasty. The cafe and antique shop reside within an old mill and you have a great view of the river and can hear the roar of the water whist you enjoy your food. Service was great and everything was reasonably priced. Will be coming back in the future.
Really helpful staff as wife is gluten intolerant.
So I bought her a savoury scone (cream) tea.
Fabulous.
Called in for a coffee. Decided on cream 'tea' (coffee).
Beautiful scone, beautiful presentation, with fresh fruit too. Very very yummy. Coffee was just as I love it too, lovely & strong.
Service with smiles.
Thank you.
