This was without doubt the best fish & chips I've eaten in ages.
Had haddock twice and a pineapple fritter with chips, fresh taste, great flavour haddock, and the batter was so crunchy and sealed the fish beautifully, if I lived closer I would be in more often. But I shall return.

This was the first fish and chips place I'd eaten at since arriving in the UK. I've eaten at a few more since then, but none have been better than this one. Maybe it's time I go back and just concede it's the best one in my local area.
Possibly the best fish and chips around Thetford. I wouldn't say this is gourmet but for fast food and your typical Fish & Chip shop, they are a step above the rest. They offer exceptional quality in terms of taste and texture, plus good value for money. Not too greasy plus have a good variety. The only thing missing is a battered Mars bar or Snickers.

We love Croxton fish bar, always very lovely food, however our only mention is, maybe more service with a smile next time and less arguing amongst yourselves while serving the customers.
Really enjoying the fish and chips from here. We're regular customers. Batter is usually lovely and crispy. Chips are almost invariably excellent with good crispiness and flavour. The fish was already lovely, I'm told, but for the last several weeks it's been skinless, which has made it even better, I understand.
Friendly staff, too. Happy to recommend - definitely my favourite in Thetford for several years, now.

Fish was absolutely amazing and the chips on another level...HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU LOVE GOOD QUALITY FOOD
To tell you the truth I’ve had better chips she couldn’t even be bothered to put salt and vinegar When she asked me if I wanted it and I said yes obviously Will not be returning here
