Love getting my take away food from here. Beautiful fish and chips. I tried the chicken pieces last time and they were very tasty. All very affordable for excellent takeaway food.
Fish was so delicious and chips was very hot and soft definitely back soon again
We’ve used this place for quite a few years and it has recently changed ownership - still good quality although there have been a few menu changes - we really miss the Irish curry sauce (shame - not many sold this).
NB: remember they shut quite early so get in early !
I had the best Haddock and Chips I’ve ever had in my life today. I had curry sauce along with it. It was absolutely delicious. The service was also amazing the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be ordering more very soon. I would highly recommend that you to check it out.

Asked for salad and mayonnaise, from pics below, minute amount of mayonnaise, salad was some pieces of limp lettuce passed there sell by date!!!!
To be honest I was there yesterday the place was busy and very clean I still had a great fish and chips defo back again
Called in yesterday and ordered Fish and Chips. They were cooked fresh so I had to wait 5 or so minutes. My meal was placed on greaseproof paper and then wrapped in paper. I declined the plastic bag (Makes them sweat and soggy).
I ate them in the car ,parked oposite. The chips were a little overcooked for me being dry and very brown. The fish was tasty but still had its skin on. I thought it was a little thin. The bottom batter had 'welded' to the greaseproof and the fish and skin just pulled away and remained on the paper.
A little disappointing....
Love this chippy normally. Food is beautiful, service is great, but Friday 3rd March has left me very disappointed. The young man who normally serves alongside a young girl was not there. The young girl was with another young girl and an older lady. The older lady took my order but I was so disappointed when I got it home. I ordered a small cod, small chips, scraps and a fish fritter. What I got was an overcooked haddock and no scraps. Will consider going back due to previous good experiences, but another meal like this and I won't be returning.
