Just reopened. Went for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent. Vegetables cooked to perfection.
Had 2 different real ales and a real cider. All tasted good.
Although the staff were very busy they were still friendly and chatty.
When we show at The Crossmere Gathering, the Cross Keys is our "Goto" place for a pint & a bite. Very pleasant staff. Good Food, good choice, reasonable prices. I advise to book in advance, although our projected wait was nowhere near as expected and we were well accommodated... Thank you
Have not eaten here yet but great place for an pint and now it is dog friendly so great if you have a dog or 2
We had fabulous meals here and the service was fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Me and my partner stopped off for a Sunday lunch, the food was absolutely amazing. Could not find fault with it at all.
However it was let down by the fact that my partner got a pint of beer and after one mouthful could tell it was the bottom of the barrell. He didn't want to cause a fuss so didn't say anything. However when he went to pay he was asked if everything was alright. He said good was spot on but the beer was off. They acknowledged that it was the bottom of the barrel, he asked if they would knock it off the bill and the answer was no as he had drank some of it.
How can you tell beer is off without trying it?,
Not sure we will be back as the attitude stunk. However as I said the food is nice.
The family and I went for a Sunday Lunch; the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Their hot brownie with ice cream really hit the spot… The staff was very welcoming, friendly and polite. Will definitely be coming around again.
Simple rustic pub at the caravan park. Called there on the way and weren't disappointed with their Sunday roast. Pork and turkey were juicy, cauliflower'n cheese full of flavour and proper Yorkshire pudding ????????. Portions are big
Beautiful meal, veg lasagne was gorgeous, Connor barman was very helpful
