We were staying nearby and decided to go to Crisp n fry due to their good reviews and it didn't disappoint! One of the best chip shops I have had. Chips were delicious and the chicken and mushroom pie was top quality compared to others I've had from chip shops. All the family were happy. Highly recommend

I would like to say thanks to the manager for the excellent service of Janey yesterday around 530 when I called in to cheer up after a bad day. She was very friendly and professional, as seemed the young man with black hair with her! Really did cheer me up and even let me put my own salt and vinegar on! Please commend her to the manager. Very good food, a lot more intense and less relaxed atmosphere than the cross hands store but still friendly and quick
Best chips I've had in a long time. We called in just before closing, so there wasn't a lot left, which is absolutely fair 10 minutes before close.
My rissole was not good. The bottom was burned to a crisp, and it didn't smell too fresh either. However, the chips were absolutely amazing. I will be trying again to check if the rissole was just an error as I'd be happy just having chips and sauce. They were that good.

Just had food from this chippy and the chips was burnt is an understatement the fish was good but the value for money was disgraceful will not buy from there again
