A lot of waste as chips not very nice ,dry !
Most of the food cold when we got home as not organised and a long wait … chicken awful !
Used to be lovely a while back, but recently the cod has been so thin! Around the same thickness as a piece of plaice! Chips are lovely though. Need to buy in better cuts of cod not the tail ends.
I can definitely say that this was the worst fish and chips I have received and I won't be going back. From the way it was portioned, not individual portions like others but all packed together so it fell apart when dishing up and very soggy batter which was unpalatable and chips that were undercooked also they had a bitter taste.

I ordered Haddock and it was lovely. I highly recommend this fish and chip shop.
I tried Crewkerne Fish bar for the first time this evening. When I arrived a chap was complaining that the chips and food he had received previously (night before) were less than satisfactory. During this exchange the staff were patient, polite and didn't charge him full price for his food. I thought that was quite decent as the story he told and his actions of returning to the same place so soon didn't quite add up.
My experience was, that, the food was really good, even after a 20 minute drive home. The staff were great and I'd happily return again.
Went in for fish and chips on Saturday night was disgusted by the state of one of the staff members going by the name of smiler I believe, he was filthy, dirty nails and clearly had no personal hygiene routines a bath wouldn’t go a miss! Needless to say after seeing this guy I chose not to eat from there as I’m not keen on food poisoning!
Called in late after travelling all day. The fish was cooked from fresh, the chips were gorgeous as was the curry sauce, and all at a very affordable price, lower than a lot of others I have used this year. My local chippy from now on.
