This might be the most honest, down-to-earth mechanic I've ever come across. And I haven't even had any work done yet!

I called him up. Explained the situation that my check engine light had come on but the car is running fine, and he spent a good five minutes giving me suggestions and tips and tricks to sort it out myself before spending money on having diagnostics done. And his quote for a full diagnostics check is cheaper than the competition too!

I have been to Crescent Road Garage a couple of times now and have been very impressed. Graham is helpful, explains everything clearly, is kind and generous. The first time, he managed to diagnose the issue, buy a new part and fit it in the space of an hour which was very convenient. The second time, he suggested that I would need to go elsewhere due to the particular issue (very honest!) whilst also giving clear advice in the meantime.

We live more than 10 miles from Crescent Road Garage but my husband has had our car fixed there for 15 years. This is because Graham (like his father before him) is an excellent, hardworking, honest, and dependable mechanic. Hubby says that he’s lost count of the number of times Graham has helped out in an emergency (including on days when he wasn’t supposed to be at the garage). Whether you know very little about motor vehicles (like us) or are very knowledgeable about them, Graham will never suggest unnecessary work that needs to be done or try to charge you for “hidden extras”. We cannot recommend him highly enough: he is brilliant.
