I went in towards the end of the day to get some fish to use for Ceviche. They were packed up but were still more than happy to help. Very friendly and the quality of fish was outstanding! Would definitely recommend and will use again.
I ordered two packets of laverbread ( a product comprised of cooked seaweed and oatmeal) from Cranbrook Fishmongers; I’m pretty sure I was quoted somewhere around £4.50 a packet over the phone, I thought we’ll that’s a lot more than in the market at Swansea, the local sale point for this product, but I thought, “ treat myself “ and so ordered two packs ( total 300 gms).
I go to collect the laverbread today and am sent reeling by being asked for
£8-95, PER PACKET (!); as it was an individual order for myself and I had travelled a fair distance to pick these up, I went ahead and paid for one packet out of honour and fair play.
The company in Swansea that retails this product, charges £25 A CASE of TEN packets, that’s £2-50p PER PACKET ,with free post and packing to my door;
I know where my custom will be going in future.
Fresh fish very welcome always helpful staff
Banging prawns in a pot, had them for my birthday prawn cocktail, lovely and sweet. Intended to call for dover sole but closed on Mondays. Will be there first thing tomorrow. Cheers

Really good quality fish ... not the cheapest ... so we may buy slightly less. If that makes sense. Quality always takes precedence.
