Independent fish and chip bars need to be supported and this family business is no exception. Great quality, large generous portions and lovely people. Part of Cranbrook and I try to visit every time I am in the area. Even during Covid they made sure they could remain open and serve from the shop front when it was possible. 5 star
Lovely little Fish n Chip shop with a range of good quality food. Staff are very friendly and have a happy to help attitude.
Always great service and amazing food. Have pre ordered and also turned up. All times served with efficiency and humour.
The food is high quality and fairly priced, the fish is also larger than I expected. Currently they have issues with international transactions by card, so I recommend paying by cash if you're not from the UK, but I hope they can get that fixed soon, it's not their fault and they tried to find an easier way to pay than walking to an atm so I didn't subtract stars for that.
Had cod and chips tonight and I can say this was the worst meal I have had. The batter on the fish was not cooked properly, it was not crispy, very doughy still. I had to then wonder if the fish was cooked????? Which it was luckily, the food bin ate well tonight. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Will got the extra mile to Stapplehurst.
Delicious! We are new to the area (Hawkhurst) and were craving fish & chips on Friday. We read reviews about a few fish and chip shops nearby and decided to order here. The fish was lovely, moist and flaky with crispy batter and the chips were excellent. Higly recommended and I'm now looking forward to our next F&C evening!
