Staff are always very rude on arrival never speak or approach me in nice manner
Always stood waiting for staff to finish their chats with one another or creating their own costa creations whilst in shift and customer are
waiting to be served
Wouldn’t visit Launceston costa again.
Rude staff always quote and YOUNGER staff very rude mannered
Very friendly and welcoming staff in this costa. They all seemed to be very happy and have a smile on their faces.
There is indoor and outdoor seating. Tables are cleaned quickly and efficiently.
Toilets were clean.
Drinks were delicious, a high standard as usual.
Nice little Costa whilst dpi your shopping. Great idea. I wish we had these in Stoke-On-Trent with our shopping places. I’d definitely use the supermarket more if we did. Toilets close by so convenient for the older or younger generation. Nice polite staff too
A huge thank you to Sarah at Costa Coffee for being just fabulous. She is always friendly, positive and welcoming. Plus, she makes an amazing flat white!
Queue busting doesn't apply to this store. The manager popped out from the back several times, looking at the queue, watching it build up, even decided to prioritize clearing a tray at one point and then pop out back once again, finally when he decided to start serving, no apologies for the wait. Not sure if he was sculpting his eye brows or just had his feet up. The poor girl on till didn't look like she had 10 arms, but magically did the job of 2 staff. I'm a man, I'm pretty slow, but this guy beat me for sure. Maybe a long course in customer service may help mate because yours customers don't have all day!
Staff are always lovely and helpful except one. Today, he was wearing a mask and I don't think he realised or cared that people could hear his remarks from behind the mask, so impatient. When we left he was being rude to someone else. Everything else fine and easy to park.
In a good location in the own square Costa is a convenient pace for a break or to meet up with friends. The coffee and food is up to the usual high standard, but what makes this bracnh shine above others is the really friendly attitude of the staff. You always get a cheery welcome and they actually appear really interested in their clustomers - a rare commodity these days.... well done all.
Lady who did the drinks was polite and courteous great customer service skills 10/10
Bald Man wearing glasses, rude impolite and snappy told me off for waiting behind the man being served- I should have been stood over by the glass counter- I was waiting behind the man being served he said that I shouldnt have been stood there as that wasn't the queue, I just smiled apologized said I didnt realize and stood where he had said. I don't know why he had to point this out to me and everyone else in the cafe.
I had a look and there weren't any cakes in the glass cabinet besides the two that had fruit in them, I decided to eat a pastry I had previously bought in tesco with all the drinks I had just purchased 2x pot of tea and a big hot chocolate, he walked past and loudly said YOU DIDNT BUY THAT CAKE IN HERE SO YOU SHOULDNT EAT IT IN HERE I HAVE MY CAKES IN THE GLASS CABINET FOR A REASON YOU KNOW, THATS WHY THERE ARE SIGNS TELLING YOU NOT TO EAT IT IF YOU HAVEN'T BOUGHT IT IN COSTA! Once again I apologized and said that I hadn't seen the signs and that I hadn't thought it to be a problem as I had purchased teapots of tea and drinks in his store .
Listen I'm sorry if I broke your rules however have a bit more respect for customers, I didnt pay money to be made to feel like an idiot. I decided not to buy anymore drinks and I thought he would just be rude to me again so instead went without another round of drinks and waited elsewhere for the friend who was supposed to grab something to eat and drink in Costa.
I'm guessing that this man is the general manager because of the way he said it is HIS cabinet of cakes? Very rude. Also i don't understand why he was stood on his phone behind the he station while his colleague was doing all the work. Lazy ignorant man. I shan't return to tesco Costa. Visit Costa in the town centre instead went there without a problem.
