Baby changing toilet /room it's quite cold there, should be heated.. My baby was crying as its freezing there...
Good location, coffee nice and plenty of space. It is just a bit slow, in need of a bit of a tidy up and nowhere naturally to stand waiting for your coffee. Staff are really nice but it all needs a set of jump leads as it takes too long (this is not specific to Costa this is all if the supposed "fast coffee sellers")
Appallingly slow service. Busy with two members of staff, one of whom was new and couldn't work the til. Not fair on staff, 'Ash' was great and should consider working for someone who cares.
Management should have a good long look at themselves and decide if they are suited for industry. They maybe better suited to stacking shelves in Lidl.
The person in front of us ordered 11 drinks, but despite this the team here were quick and efficient.
We did a quick pit stop here after a sea swimming session nearby.
This Costa has the usual assortment of cakes, snacks, cold drinks that you’d expect, and a small range of toasted sandwiches, etc that can be heated.
Waited 20 minutes for a coffee whilst the barrista chatted to another customer. When I got my order it was wrong. I requested my original order and barrista wasn't happy as the queue was massive by this time. Customer service 0/10
Experienced bad service at this branch that I have not encountered at other Costa Coffee branches. I had accumulated eight beans on my Costa Rewards App and went in to redeem my free drink reward and also was notified about an exclusive members-only popcorn frappe. I was told that they could not accept my e-coupon due to "technical issues" and was told by the girl serving that I'd need to phone up the customer services to resolve it! As if I or anyone would have time or patience to do that in the middle of a hot day! I walked away and left the store empty-handed as I was not paying for a drink out of principle and disappointment. I was told that it "sometimes happens" by the girl who served me but it is besides the point. I had zero money until payday and went in as I knew I was entitled to a free drink and never received it, like the thieves that work here are happy to "steal" what little, hard-earned money I may have and was as if they didn't want me getting a freebie- that is what their loyalty card scheme is all about. I don't often complain about any establishment but I felt I had ought to take a stand virtually. I will not be returning to this branch of Costa Coffee and have had a pleasant experience in numerous branches in Edinburgh, where they are happy to redeem rewards for free drinks. It adds insult to injury with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis that leaves as all worse off financially.
Only went in for a bacon roll and coffee for my first time in a Costa as Gregg's was closed due to a mechanical error. Twice the price and half the quality.
Busy sunny Saturday afternoon. Staff were workhard keeping their cool. Which is hard with how busy they were.
There were enough seat at the back were we seat having the cuppa and cakes.
Toilets were clean too. Well done as it was busy with folk using them as they Waited for take-out.
