Just been through the drive thru and redeemed a discount offer. I had no idea how to do it in the app and the young lady serving was so kind and helpful getting me sorted. Always had great service from this outlet here.
Great coffee as always. Was super busy in there today, so there was a bit of a queue and a 20min wait in store to get our coffees. But we didn't mind, the coffee and frappe was yummy.
Loads of disabled access and space for your wheelchair in the 2 disabled parking bays. Inside is a different story, you have no chance fitting a wheelchair in between the tables as they are too close together. So you would be better off sitting outside, or by the first set of tables as you enter the shop.
I've tried this branch a few times since it opened but sadly it's just not coming up to the standard of other Costas. The service is exceptionally slow. The Saturday staff look and sound bored, not a smile to be seen. No effort to provide service beyond the essential questions.
I've never see so many people queuing either. It's certainly not one to drop in to for a 'quick coffee on way'
Very busy when we went (Saturday morning) so quite noisy and difficult to have a conversation. My only slight niggle other than that is the TV menu choice screens, I'd just like to see a list stay on screen instead of waiting for the screens to scroll around, I felt like the person serving was a little irritated with me when she asked what I wanted but I couldn't tell her until the screen got back to the menu I wanted.
Every morning without fail the service is amazing, always greeted with friendly staff and smiles all round great effort ????

Arrived here planning to use the drive through but it was closed.
Went inside and the queue was to the door. Actual cafe area pretty much deserted. People were buying to take out.
Staff were working flat out but progress was slow
As a driving instructor, I am constantly out and about, frequently appreciating coffee spots and public loos!! I stopped off at the new Costa in Scunthorpe yesterday, as it has recently just been built, and is in a convenient location and from the outside, looked colourful and inviting. That's the good points covered. However, once inside, the interior immediately looks cheap. The tables and chairs are cheap-looking, and the space had an air of motorway service station about it. It's many a year since I sat in a Costa, but when I did I recall it being a plush, comfortable, relaxing place to be. This is far from it. It was cold, uncomfortable and the food is poor. I paid over £8.00 for a coffee and a microwaved sandwich - which didn't taste of much. I won't be returning. I presume this is a cheaper version of a Costa to catch those wanting to kill 30 minutes. It doesn't compare with other branches. Disappointing and expensive.
