I have to say it's not the first time that we have used the drive thru and I'm sad to say that I'm not impressed with the service at all; today sunday 05/05/24 they got the order wrong. The reason is because they were standing around chatting and being stupid not to mention the lack of concentration; we like the drive thru as it's better than the market place.
When it first opened the staff was so efficent and on the ball and pleasant;
Stopped for lunch, overall service was great if a little slow but the restaurant was clean and tidy.
My only gripe was allowing dogs, a family were sat with the dog and had given it a chew. It was sprawled across the floor chewing away.
When you’re eating you don’t want this, I’d understand in some country park cafe but not in Costa.
Staff should say no dogs in my view unless it’s a guide dog.
Met family here for a drink,service was a bit slow but staff friendly.
They could do with a better system after ordering with the order receipts being put on trays,if you get part of your order and take it to your table with the receipt still on the tray the rest of your order won't get done.It would be better to produce 2 of the receipts with the oder on both and kept seperate,one for the staff to fulfil the order and the other for the customer,so mix ups can be prevented like I witnessed while there.
Reason for 1 star. Supposedly open at 8am on a Saturday. Still closed. No obvious opening times sign. Google has the wrong times. I know it's the weekend, but come on, not open at 8.20am!!
Used to be a great place to stop, when charging the car, but not now. Disappointing.
New Costa opened in July 2022. Quite large, with outdoor seating too. There is lots of car parking. A strange place for a Costa in an industrial estate that is still largely empty, but inside it is quite nice. There is a drive through too.
Delicious and Quick and easy stop just off the A43.
Recommend Costa employ MORE staff becuase Drive thru not open all hours.
New drive thru. Plenty of parking Inc disabled spaces. Visited Thursday at 10am, it was very busy inside, although there was no queue. Toilets were clean. Electric car charging bays just around the corner.
Always good coffee and lovely friendly staff
