A really welcomed stop after a long drive, situated within a complex of services side by side.
Good selection of snacks and drinks, lots of seating, good outdoor area, adequate parking, there's also toilet facilties and a WHS to buy news papers.
It's very popular so do expect a que, sadly the staff are rushed off their feet due to the popularity of Costa having to make many coffees in a very short period of time.
I think it's our job as customers to be patient as we will get served. It does calm down depending what time of day you arrive.
Thank goodness we have places to stop relax, refresh and refule, back to the A1 now ready for the rest of the journey to Scotland ????????????????????????????
Standard Costa, no toast or teacakes today ???? and the lights were flickering all the time. I came home with a headache and nausea, but unfortunately, I forgot to tell staff
Cannot praise the staff at this services Costa enough. So on the ball with everything, serving, fulfilling orders, clearing & cleaning tables, sweeping the floor, all areas amazing. The cleanest, best run Costa we have ever visited & we are ardent Costa fans, well done to this team, brilliant ????

Not bad for a Costa.Called Sunday pm.Staff not very customer oriented or smiley.Couldnt have cared less when 2 people were sat in seating area with feet up on tables with dirty shoes..Not hygienic at all!
Worst Costa I’ve been to so far. Saw them pour cold oat milk in a they didn’t steam enough in the jug and then it was poured so that there was no frothed milk at all. Also they used the last of the whipped cream which meant it was very runny and tasteless.
Useful stop on the motorway for morning coffee. although busy Costa coffee is consistent so worth the wait. The altered road layout though means it's no longer a quick return to the A1. A competitors coffee shop sits on the next roundabout which is alot quieter and you have to pass to get back to the A1
Relatively small (like the motorway services) so can get quite busy at peak times and at least some of the seating seems to be shared with customers of the tiny McDonaldʼs. Pleasant outdoor seating area which gets the sun from late morning onwards. Standard Costa menu, so no great surprises — and, alas, no scones!! Friendly staff and quick service.
