I go here regularly. The staff are always helpful and friendly. They provide produce and items from local companies/enterprises and their dog treat selection is awesome, my dog loves everything i bring back.
Good service and friendly staff. However, there is quite a big step up into the shop to pay for petrol and no handrails/grabs which would be a real help for people like me with impaired mobility. I mentioned it to a member of staff who agreed with me and also said they had heard the same comment from other customers. I would suggest the owner takes note of these comments and takes steps to make the shop more accessible.
I was a frequent visitor on this petrol station, as I always received a great smile, until today.
I just wanted to grab a bottle of drink to take it with me to work, but even all signs out to make sure you have the appropriate payment stuff on you, I failed. I thought bank card is acceptable. I’ve been told no, for using card, as they still operate with a £5.00 limit on cards. (This is not marked anywhere thought). So I guess I have to take my money somewhere else and spend it in a store where they will allow me to pay, with whatever payment option I have.
I bought some petrol here. It's a petrol station. Do people write reviews of petrol stations?
I had half a tank of the middle Eastern mix; I was amused by its cheeky insouciance, so sadly lacking in today's higher octane fuels.
Pleasant, helpful staff, reasonable selection of comestibles in shop. Downside is the layout of the fuel pumps, which prevents them all being in use simultaneously, resulting in queuing and longer waiting times.
This is both our local garage and paper shop/convenience store so we use it almost daily.
Welcoming staff at all times, early or late. We are lucky to have such a facility!
Way overpriced fuel compared to the other Texaco garage on Dennison Road. Now it's been taken over by Gulf things may improve.
No gloves or towels,windscreen wash or bins. Paper stuck on the pumps and the place is not looked after very well. Otherwise staff are friendly and its priced well.
