I am super impressed by how the service has improved at this Practice. Whoever used to work there with a really negative attitude is no longer there and I have been dealing with Hailey from front desk/admin team and she has been extremely helpful for a while now. Also, Dr Aksa, is an absolute gem. Super gentle and understanding. There are other doctors at the practice that do not have the same attitude unfortunately, but I am very relieved to have been handled by such a humane and amazing GP.
My worst experience with with a surgery. Its almost impossible to book an appointment even for children under 5. And when you get an appointment(telephone one) the GP is sometimes rude or used rude words and discriminating ones as well. Not recommended at all. They really need improvements loads of efforts with the way they are communicating
Attended drop in clinic Saturday morning 7th October for flu jab. Straight through and was given the jab. Also advised to have a pneumonia jab which lasts 10 years. When checking my record, Dr advised I was due a blood test, so was sent into the nurses room to get this done also. In and out in 5 mins! Drop in sessions are the way.forward
My experience today [18th August] with Cornerstone Family Practice has been exemplary. From speaking with Steph by telephone at 9:35 am - to going into the Surgery with a specimen [again with Steph] for the lab - to a phone call from Steph at 13:24 informing me that I required medication and a prescription had been sent to Boots on Crown Point North, Denton to taking the first antibiotic at 3:45 pm. Despite other negative reviews I have to review as I have found my experience and a big thank you to Steph on a brilliant service.
They never answer the phone. I have been six times there in person and they never have any available appointments (the place is empty every single time). Usually they say call back on Monday 8:00am (but they don't even answer the phone). Or, they say the next appointment is after 1 month. The place is always empty and there are about 6-7 staff hanging around. This place is a joke.
Worst clinic ever no duty of care wife needs loads of pills due to her condition , shes lucky if she gets them
Not really a criticism of the Cornerstone, but rather the ridiculous effort that is required just to book a blood test at the Manchester Trust org. I spent nearly 30 minutes in a telephone queue. When I finally got through the lady maybe accidentally transferred my call to another irrelevant of phone options. So I was stuck and didn't get chance to book my blood test. The NHS is the worst, so incompetent, so careless, so wasteful. No-one has been stupid enough to emulate it, we have been stupid enough to put up with it for so long, it neither protects the interests of staff or patients.
It takes has taken me 2hrs to speak to someone and as for getting a doctors appointment, that's like gold dust and you have to fight past a lot of hurdle to get that.
They used to be really good but now I'm not sure if anything or anyone assist patients anymore. I have had to try signing up with another surgery as I just feel that they don't care anymore ????
