Best KPortal Reviews

Ordered a mocha however it was so sweet I was only able to have a few sips. The bagel however was soft and lots of creamy cheese which is really nice. I had the salmon bagel and it was nice.
Edit review : went back for brunch had the mocha again but this time asked for half sugar and it was perfect . Again had the salmon bagel was still really nice .
Handy little cafe by the square with outside seating, with some humourless and odd staff.
They have Cheese and Chuntney sandwiches, they have Ham and Tomato sandwiches (all made by hand from what I can see), yet if you want a Cheese and Tomato sandwich it involves a board meeting which comes to the conclusion you can but it will cost an additional £1.00.
Anyway, it was very nice, served with a small garnish and some chips.
Quaint cafe in the heart of Lenham village. This cafe is built in a 14th century listed building and as a result adds some real character to the café. Serves a range of food from bacon baps to cream teas. The cake in the picture was a devilish salted caramel sponge cake washed down with a coffee Vienna and latte. A favourite place for cyclists and locals but a warm welcome given to newcomers.
A lovely place in the medieval village of Lenham hosted by a lovely couple. We only had tea scones and cake but were also rewarded by conversation about the village and lent a book to leaf through about the history. I would definitely go here again when on the road through Kent.
Disappointed
Supposed to be open till 4pm, arrived 3:25pm to be told rather bluntly that they've just closed so wouldn't serve us despite there being at least three tables of people still in there with drinks and food.
Trying to support local businesses but some of them clearly don't want our support!
A great spot for cyclists. Plenty of outdoor seating, and a wide selection of coffee and cake. What more does a cyclist need?
Absolutely awful I can't believe it happened, my 5 year old boy was desperate for the toilet so popped in to use as was always able to and knows no different only to be met as he came out of the toilet by the man who works in the cafe with his arms on his hip towering in the door staring at him and told him he can't use the toilet! This man not only was scary to my 5 year old that it made him cry but he was also incredibly rude to me. As a local and who family use this cafe alot we will not be returning and I will be tell people how he treats children Absolutely mortified it made me feel sick and my son so upset and confused. There is a way to talk to children this place obviously isn't child friendly and the way he was just staring at my son as he came out of the toilet and didn't speak for a few seconds really creeped me out.
Popped in for breakfast and coffee which was well worth the £9 each we paid. We opted for the full English and was offered back or crispy bacon, very tasty sausage, choice of eggs, mushrooms, tomato and lots of either brown or white toast. The coffee was thick and very nutty, in fact I had two cups it was THAT good! Service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
