Lovely quiet hotel. rooms were clean and well stocked with tea coffee etc. the bed lovely and comfy. Breakfast was fantastic plenty of variety of cereal and fruit juices and served by a lovely friendly lady can’t recommend enough and at a fantastic price. would definitely book again in the future.
Had our meal here tonight and can honestly say it was outstanding. The place is lovely, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble but the food....it was top notch. From our starters to our mains and the kids food and ice cream was more than we expected. Would highly recommend will fill defiantly be back. Thank you for a lovely evening
Received a lovely warm welcome from the landlady. Stayed for a few drinks. Asked if the tennis would be shown that evening (US Open final), it was. Said we’d be back to watch it. When we returned, the landlady had reserved a table for us in the prime viewing spot. Looks newly renovated with lovely clean and modern/rustic decor. Had booked elsewhere prior to our trip and were unfamiliar to the area but wish we’d stayed there.
Had the misfortune of attending this hostelry as we had been led to believe it was fish and chip night. Found a suitable table outside as we had the dig with us. Went into the bar to order drinks and meal a member of the bar staff was on the phone apparently dealing with a booking. Her mate was leaning on the counter but no recognition or acknowledgment that I was there. Stood for about 7 minutes but still no acknowledgment from staff. Walked out never to return. Folks you lost some good trade and some money which no doubt is badly needed. Never again go across the road to Simply Dutch or Reuben’s
Lovely little bed and breakfast above a cosy pub. Food was good and breakfast was great, electric showers are okay but not very strong and beds were very comfy. Keep in mind on Monday and Tuesday nights they don’t serve food if an evening but have a sister place five minutes walk that does called Reubens.
Lovely little hotel pub. Rooms are warm comfortable and nicely decorated.
Pub is well situated for the North Yorkshire Dales close to the A1 in Leeming Bar.
Have stayed twice now staff are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Recommend it to anyone. And would stay again.
3rd stay now and I never write rewiews but this place is so good it deserves one. Sandra the boss is just so friendly and nothing you ask is to much trouble. Food is Brill, rooms are spotless and the bar is well stocked with great beer. Can't wait for next year many thanks.
Rooms are ok, beds are comfortable with shower facilities provided. Had to phone the landlady to let her know of my arrival, no parking provided, had to use the railway station to leave the car. Steps leading up to rooms were steep. No evening meals provided on Tuesday's and Wednesday's so overall not a very good first impression.
