Large chips and sausage £9, chips were dry and stale. Definitely not worth the money especially small portion sizes when you buy a large avoiiddd!!! Staff to interested in talking to each other rather than good service also. Shame used to be a good chippy
Not value for money or quality. For 2 cod and chips and a kids sausage and chips it cost nearly £30!, you can see from the pics how this does not add up. I appreciate this is an on resort chippy but no need to skimp on quality or quantity especially when charging restaurant prices! They had no small sausages for the kids meal so decided to chop a large one in half and give us that… ok I didn’t ‘pay’ for a a large but come on!
Possibly one of the most painful experiences of my life yesterday watching the staff work at a snails pace to serve simple F&C!
Order on the app for a collection time? Don't bother because they certainly won't bother having it ready at that time, or even half an hour later in fact.
Ever watched a sloth climb a tree? Be prepared to watch someone do the following process at that pace many times!!
-check next line on receipt for item
-take paper (very carefully) and place (careful now!) on tray
-pause to consider item location
-retrieve item from warmer and place on tray treating it like an explosive that will go off at the slightest jolt
-manoeuvre item and paper onto larger paper being sure to treat like the most fragile item known to man
-salt and vinegar
-wrap to a high standard worthy of putting under the tree at Christmas
-go on, why not wrap it again, we've got all day
-place to side ready for the transferring to final bag ceremony
-study receipt for next item and repeat
Awful food and service. Half the staff chewing gum while cooking or serving. Overpriced. Atmosphere got 2* because everyone was complaining together while we were ignored while waiting. An absolute shambles.
Not sure what all the 1 star reviews are for. I went at 6pm during half term & there was no queue. The girl behind the counter was nice & friendly. The prices are pretty average for holiday resort chippies. The food was delicious & hot.
The issue may be that nothing is made ready ie there are no chips or fish or pies ready to go. Its all cooked when you order which (a) means at least its fresh & warm but (b) I guess it can lead to long wait times when there's a queue.
Overall very good.
I had to give 1 star so I could tell you all how disgusting this chippy is.

I paid £35 for 1 kids meal, 2 portions of chips and 1 fish.
Should have checked reviews. Over priced. Miserable staff. Cheap oven chips fried. Pathetic portions. Long wait. Couldn't give zero stars. Come on haven what are you doing about it
Not that busy but 45 min wait due to very slow staff, served out of order, left smelling of fat.
