The venue has a good dance floor with plenty of room for even the most expressive dancers to slide around on their knees. The bar price is reasonable and seating adequate for social functions.
This is a lovely under used space. We have enjoyed welcoming 2023 &2024 in at the civic center with a DJ, live music , great food and wonderful bar staff.

Did the remembrance day parade here and it was just big enough to fit everyone in with some standing around the sides

Such a well located civic Hall. Plenty of room and ample toilets although there's not much room when your waiting to use the toilet. Great parking facilities for is being disabled parkers
I have spent lovely evening with my clise friends in CQ Civic Hall. Spacious place for organising social events with larger crowds. Parking space near by and the surroundings kept clean, neighbourhood appears safe. We will no doubt return to organise more parties in the future.
We booked a table for two at 6:00pm. Place was nice and quiet, very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were shown to our own private booth and our whole experience was done in less than 5 minutes.
Hopefully won't have the need to go again but should certain circumstances arise then I won't hesitate to come to the Civic Hall.

Underutilised. Great facilities, good size. Excellent stage.
